What Is a Cannabis Tincture?
It’s a liquid cannabis extract made with alcohol, oil, or glycerin — often stored in a small bottle with a dropper.
- Take it under your tongue for quick effects (15–30 min)
- Mix it into drinks or food for longer-lasting vibes (60–90 min onset)
What You’ll Need
✅ Cannabis (your favorite strain)
✅ A base: high-proof alcohol, MCT oil, or glycerin
✅ A jar, some time, and a little patience
Decarb First:
Bake your flower at 230°F for 30–40 min to activate the THC or CBD.
Tincture Time: Choose Your Method
Alcohol-Based Tincture (Green Dragon):
- Add decarbed flower + alcohol to a mason jar
- Shake daily and store for 3+ weeks in a dark spot
- Strain and bottle
Oil-Based (Slow Cooker Style):
- Simmer flower + MCT oil on low for 2–6 hours

Start with ¼ to ½ dropper. Wait 60–90 min. Then adjust.

Here’s a quick formula:
Grams x %THC ÷ ml of liquid = mg THC per ml
Example: 28g @ 20% THC in 375ml = ~15mg THC per dropper
